Whether you're picking up a balloon for the first time or you've been creating for years, this hands-on masterclass is designed to elevate your skills, challenge your creativity and introduce you to techniques you simply won't find anywhere else.
This isn't a copy-and-repeat workshop. Before we touch a single design, we lay the foundations that most balloon artists never get taught properly — and they make all the difference.
The Foundation Session — Where Every Great Design Begins
We open the day with the fundamentals that underpin every beautiful bobo creation:
Stretching — the single most misunderstood skill in balloon art. Over-stretch and your balloon becomes weak, loses its structure and risks popping. Under-stretch and it won't inflate to a perfect shape. We cover exactly how to read your balloon and find that sweet spot every time.
Posture & Technique — how you hold and handle the balloon affects the outcome more than most people realise. We'll work on body positioning and hand technique so you're working with the balloon, not against it.
Climate & Environment — temperature and humidity directly affect how your balloons behave. You'll learn how to adapt your approach so your work holds up beautifully whether you're in a cold venue, a hot marquee or anything in between.
The Designs — Five Concepts, Zero Compromise
Every design has been chosen to challenge every level in the room, give you something genuinely new to offer your clients and create content your followers will stop scrolling for.
1. 🌸 Classic Bobo Flower The foundation design done properly — with the finishing details, presentation techniques and professional touches that make it look truly luxurious. Even if you've made bobo flowers before, you haven't made them like this.
2. 🧸 The Hanging Design A teddy or baby vest suspended beautifully inside the balloon — one of the most popular and commercially successful bobo gifts on the market. We cover everything from stuffing and positioning to finishing and presentation so yours stands out from everyone else's.
3. 🌺 Bobo's Garden Globe Our signature showstopper — exclusive to Balloon Gift Boutique. A floral arrangement that lives inside the balloon and cascades beautifully outward, like a living garden globe. This is the design that stops people in their tracks and it is not taught anywhere else. Clients will ask you where you learned it. Now you'll know.
4. 🪩 Bobo's Disco Globe The design nobody saw coming. A handcrafted suspended structure of decorated glitter balls — built by you, styled by you — sealed inside a double bobo with water between the two balloons creating a mesmerising, movement-filled effect. You'll start building your inner creation before lunch and complete the full assembly after — giving everything time to set perfectly. Every single student in the room will produce something completely unique. This is your new celebration centrepiece and your clients won't find it anywhere else.
5. ⬆️ The Stacked Bobo Two bobos heat sealed together into one dramatic tiered display piece. Striking, versatile and incredibly commercial — this works for birthdays, baby showers, weddings and everything in between. Once you know how to do this properly the possibilities are endless.

If you have your own electric balloon pump or heat sealer please bring them. Having your own equipment means I can help you dial in your personal settings on the day — so you go home knowing exactly how to use your own tools for perfect results every time.
Don't have your own yet? No problem — shared equipment is available throughout the day.
You're also warmly encouraged to bring your own florals, teddies, baby clothing or decorative items if you have favourites you love working with. The goal of this day is to teach you my techniques while giving you the freedom to express your own creativity — so if you have materials that inspire you, bring them along.
A full optional kit list will be sent to you immediately after booking.
